Youssef Chebbi’s ASHKAL selected at the Directors’ Fortnight

With Ashkal, Youssef Chebbi signs his first feature film. In Tunis, two cops find a burnt body in an abandoned lot and start looking into this mysterious case. When the event repeats itself, the investigation takes a puzzling turn.

The film is presented at the Directors’ Fortnight.

THE WILD ONE by Tessa Louise-Salomé in Competition at Tribeca

The Wild One explores the work of, Jack Garfein—Holocaust survivor, Actors Studio figure, controversial filmmaker—revealing how his experience propelled his defiance of censorship in postwar America. The film will have its World Premiere at Tribeca in Competition.
