From Hiroshima to Fukushima: Doctor Hida’s Fight

By Marc Petitjean

The Fukushima nuclear disaster is seen trough the eyes of the charismatic and committed doctor Hida. Essential witness of the Hiroshima atomic bombing, he has been the doctor of irradiated people for more than 60 years. At the age of 97, he keeps fighting for a fairer world, using humor and provocation to denounce the official attitude. Why aren’t we learning from the past ? The film records the ultimate words of Dr Hida. With him, a side of human memory and conscience will disappear for good.
