On The Way

By Natalia Dołgowska

How far can we be from nature by trying to be in the middle of it? Amid the serene beauty of Polish Tatra mountains, an asphalt road leads to a picture-perfect yet heavily overcrowded mountain lake. Generations of hikers shift as the seasons change, treading the same path – much to animals’ dismay. By reversing the gaze, the film tries to look at humans from nature’s perspective.
